Welcome to My Site

We have taken our Teens To Go concept of "...a different adventure each day" and added a new swing to it - GOLF! In the past several years, the sport of golf has really taken off - especially with the youngsters. Just like amusement parks, ski resorts, beaches, ... each golf course is different. So, we have a great golf program that offers young golfers in the area a chance to challenge different courses each day! Our program will give young golfers the opportunity to play golf at different courses AND receive guided instructions from a PGA Member, Keith Robertson, and the staff from his Golf 4 Kids Academy.

Keith Robertson, works directly with Mike Bender. Mike Bender (#1 Golf Teacher in 2009 and current top 10) is a Professional Golf Swing Coach in Florida who works with many Professional Golfers (Jonathan Byrd, Lee Janzen, 2007 Masters Winner - Zach Johnson - just to name a few) and has created the MEGSA (Most Efficient Golf Swing Attainable). Keith has adopted Mike's teaching techniques and program. So, indirectly the kids in our program will be getting the same lessons as many of the professional golfers! The Structure of the Golf Camp

Our Teens To Golf program combine instruction and playing on a daily basis. We will play at a different course each day. Monday to Wednesday, we will have half day instruction, lunch, and 9 holes at local courses. On Thursday and Friday, we will hold a 2- day golf tournament playing at 2 different courses! There will be an instructor with each group. The instructor will be assisting the players with shot making decisions, course management, and other techniques.  At the end of each round, the campers will be giving an analysis of their game and what they need to work on.

This camp is for golfers who have had several years of experience playing golf and play on a routine basis. This is geared for golfers who play in a competitive tournaments, including high school team members. The focus will be on playing and what it takes to score better. Since this program will focus more on course management, specific shot making, and other mental aspects of the game, it is not geared for the beginner players.  Golfers signing up for this program must have experience playing in tournaments and have posted scores of 90 or less for 18 holes.

Who are these Teens To Go Golf Programs For?
These programs are NOT intended for beginners interested in learning how to play golf. The concept of this program is to work on refining skills, learning drills, course management, scoring opportunities, and having the opportunity to play at different courses. It is also a great program for Junior tournament and High School players to get a lot of playing time and information. We recommend this program to:

• Golfers trying out for or playing on school teams
• Junior Golf Tournament players
• Young golfers who really want to improve their game

If you are a beginner or interested in golf lessons, Keith Robertson has many programs and camps for all levels. Visit Golf 4 Kids Academy for more information.  You can call him at 301-442-6799 or write to him for more details.
